Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an MIS Officer to ensure smooth daily IT operations, support store systems, and maintain IT infrastructure for seamless retail activities. You will troubleshoot, maintain systems, and coordinate IT support for store operations.

Fresh graduates with a Diploma in Computer Studies are welcome; 3–4 years in retail/service or SPM with 5+ years experience are encouraged to apply. Strong hardware, software, networking, and POS knowledge plus problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Studies required or fresh graduates welcome.
• SPM holders with >5 years in retail/service are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with 3–4 years of relevant experience in retail/service are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth daily operation of IT systems including Start of Day (SOD) and End of Day (EOD) processes.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot hardware, software, POS, and network issues.
• Maintain LAN, servers, workstations, backups, software updates, and data integrity.
• Coordinate IT equipment maintenance and liaise with vendors for support as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance of computer and POS equipment for optimal performance.
• Monitor system security and enforce IT policies; prevent unauthorized software installation.
• Support store operations through system administration, stocktake, price verification, and audit reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and statutory requirements.
• Assist in IT projects, documentation, reporting, and other duties as assigned.
