Job summary

Supermicro in Malaysia is seeking an IT Engineer to manage the performance of IT equipment, act as the primary technical contact for employees, and ensure service delivery aligns with Supermicro's standards.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network issues, set up devices, assist with onboarding, document processes, and support IT initiatives while upholding security policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Around 3 years of IT support experience preferred.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support via phone, email or ticket system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network issues.
• Assist with user account setup, access provisioning, and password resets.
• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment (PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices).
• Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or vendors as needed.
• Maintain IT documentation and asset inventory records.
