Job summary

DKSH Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT Service Management Design and Transition Intern to support ITSM processes, tooling, and asset management across the organization. You will gain exposure to workflow automation, process improvement, and digital service operations that shape IT services for thousands of employees worldwide.

You will help drive enhancements to the ticketing tool, support ITAM activities, gather requirements, and develop documentation and reports to enable better service

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business IT, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, system integration concepts, data exchange, automation, or workflow configuration is an advantage.
• Interest in IT Service Management, ticketing tools, IT Asset Management, process improvement, and service delivery operations.
• Familiarity with ITIL is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Process-driven, organized, and able to track tasks, actions, dependencies, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Drive enhancements to the IT ticketing tool through workflow improvements, configuration updates, requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
• Review and improve ITSM processes to ensure they are structured, measurable, and aligned with needs.
• Support IT Asset Management activities including data validation, lifecycle tracking, and process documentation.
• Engage stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements for tool enhancements and reporting needs.
• Coordinate enhancement requests end-to-end with clear tracking of requirements, actions, timelines, and stakeholders.
