Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking an IT infrastructure and security professional to manage the company’s network, servers, databases, and ISMS-related policies. You will lead IT infrastructure projects, oversee capex budgeting, and ensure robust security controls.

The role requires 3–5 years in IT network and security, CCNA/CCNP or JNCIP valued, a degree or professional certificate, and strong documentation, change, incident, and risk assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Degree or professional certificate in information technology or related field.
• CCNA, CCNP or JNCIP certifications are highly valued.
• 3–5 years of IT network and security experience; strong SOP and ISMS exposure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT infrastructure and security policies, SOPs, and ISMS-related guidance.
• Manage IT infrastructure projects and capex/budget forecasting.
• Provide incident, change, and problem management for IT systems.
• Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless APs.
• Document infrastructure processes and security controls; conduct risk assessments.

Job Target

• To maintain and manage IT Infrastructure section (maintain IT security policy, SOP, ISMS related policy and to provide IT security awareness education & training to all staff).

Job Description

• IT Management
• Manage any IT infrastructure projects assigned by the company.
• Assist on capex (capital expenditure) and budget forecast submission.
• IT Infrastructure and Operation
• Maintain the integrity of the company's network, server, database, and security deployment.
• Provide change management, incident and problem management, and operational support for IT systems and devices.
• Deliver technical documentation for infrastructure, control procedures, and operations.
• Configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points to optimize network performance and security
• Monitoring network performance using tools like Wireshark or SolarWinds and troubleshooting issues to prevent downtime
• Designing network architecture that supports scalability, redundancy, and failover capabilities
• Implementing network security measures to protect against cyber threats and unauthorized access
• IT Security and Compliance
• Implement, follow up, maintain, and assist in J-SOX ITCLC matters assigned by the HQ Information Security Department.
• Cooperate with Japan HQ IT Network & Security Department to maintain security policies and guidelines.
• Conduct IT security risk assessments and risk management based on the ISMS ISO 27001:2013 standard.
• Plan and execute IT audit and technical consultancy assignments (including general IT controls, application reviews, and security assessments).
• Coordinate IT security incident handling and investigations.

Job Requirements

• Qualification: Minimum Degree or Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Certificate: Industry-recognized certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIP are highly valued
• Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of working experience in IT network and patches managements services
• Skill: Technical & management skills in IT infrastructure, ISMS policy, and hands-on SOP experience.
• Language: English, Malay, Chinese, Japanese (Preferable Chinese or Japanese speaker)
