Resorts World Genting is seeking an IT Executive – Security Operations to support the day-to-day security operations, including endpoint and perimeter protection, and incident response. You will work with IT Engineers, security personnel, and the SOC to maintain controls, respond to alerts, and contribute to cybersecurity initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build practical experience in enterprise security.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• Entry-level or associate-level certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Security certifications, CCNA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Candidates who are actively pursuing relevant cybersecurity certifications may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support endpoint security, including deployment, monitoring, and patching activities.
• Assist in perimeter security tasks such as firewall rules review and VPN/Web Application Firewall management.
• Support the SOC in investigating endpoint and perimeter security alerts and document findings.
• Assist in containment and remediation measures for security incidents and track follow-up actions.
• Contribute to security compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
