Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Project Manager to lead project teams of business and IT professionals delivering small/medium solutions. You will mentor subordinates and support larger programs under a Senior PM/Program Manager.

Responsibilities include scope/cost governance, stakeholder alignment, RFI/RFP coordination, and regular status reporting while ensuring policy adherence across IT processes. SAP experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project scope and costs are agreed upon by the stakeholders
• Coordinate business requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder approval
• Prepare project plan(s) and implementation schedule(s) including all knowledge areas from PMBOK
• Conduct internal and vendor inquiries to meet current and projected business needs
• Coordinate RFI/RFPs with third parties and IT procurement
• Provide regular reports to stakeholders and sponsors with status, milestones and risks
• Active problem solving and identifying alternative solutions
• Serve as escalation point for project risks and issues
• Provide leadership and guidance to teams to achieve goals
• Manage multiple medium-risk projects independently
• Recommend, prepare and conduct training
• Manage change control and overall project execution
• Maintain good relationships with customers and vendors
• Ensure 100% adherence to IT policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
