Job summary

I-Xeon Technologies Sdn. Bhd. in Selangor seeks an IT Project Coordinator to assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities across internal teams and vendors.

You will monitor progress and ensure milestones are met within timelines, while supporting budgeting and resource planning. Responsibilities include leading project execution, maintaining schedules, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT project coordination or project management.
• Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate project activities among internal teams and external vendors.
• Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within timelines.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, action plans, and work breakdown structures.
• Support project budgeting and resource planning.
• Lead project execution activities according to approved plans.
• Assign and coordinate technical tasks among team members.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Conduct status meetings and provide progress updates to management.
• Monitor risks and coordinate mitigation plans with stakeholders.

IT - Project Coordinator (Based in Selangor)

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

Coordinate project activities among internal teams and external vendors.

Monitor project progress and ensure milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

Prepare and maintain project schedules, action plans, and work breakdown structures.

Support project budgeting and resource planning.

Project Execution

Lead project implementation activities according to approved project plans.

Assign and coordinate technical tasks among team members.

Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Conduct project status meetings and provide regular progress updates to management.

Monitor project risks and recommend mitigation plans.

Coordinate with vendors throughout project implementation.

Facilitate communication between customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Resolve project issues and elevate major risks when necessary.

Maintain positive working relationships with all project stakeholders.

Quality Assurance

Monitor project quality throughout implementation.

Review project deliverables before customer acceptance.

Ensure proper testing and validation are completed before deployment.

Ensure compliance with company standards and project methodologies.

Documentation

Prepare and maintain project documentation including:

Project plans

Meeting minutes

Progress reports

Change requests

User Acceptance Test (UAT) documentation

Project closure reports

Deployment Support

Support acceptance and deployment activities.

Assist in resolving post-implementation issues.

Other Duties

Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related disciplines.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT project coordination or project management.

Experience managing vendors and cross-functional teams is preferred.

Experience in software implementation projects is an advantage.
