Job summary
Molex Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Specialist, IT Support to own digital manufacturing systems at the Kawasan Perindustrian Prai site. You will oversee OT-IT integration, enterprise platforms, and security to ensure reliable MES/SCADA, ERP, data analytics, and automation performance across manufacturing operations.
You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and Finance, while aligning with regional/global IT and Cybersecurity teams to drive standardized,
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure and related systems.
- Working knowledge of OT and manufacturing systems such as PLC/SCADA/MES.
Responsibilities
- Align technology roadmaps with Manufacturing Operations to hit throughput, quality, and cost targets.
- Translate manufacturing needs into digital requirements with IT and vendors to improve reliability and scalability.
- Ensure site IT/OT requests follow global intake workflow and standards.
- Evaluate requests based on alignment, fit, cost/value, urgency, and compliance.
- Engage site stakeholders to standardize requests and protect timelines.
- Operate and optimize site IT/OT infrastructure including networks, on‑prem/cloud compute, IAM, endpoints, and plant OT devices.
