Job summary

V.S. INDUSTRY BERHAD is seeking an SAP ABAP developer to design, modify, and maintain ABAP programs including module pools, ALV reports, and custom dialog screens. You will enhance SAP screens and implement enhancements via BADI and User Exits, while building and consuming SAP APIs for S/4HANA integrations.

The role involves integrating APIs, troubleshooting API developments, and supporting web application modules and intranet systems across the organization.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in software development with SAP ABAP.
• Experience with SAP ABAP, Fiori, S4/HANA and web tech.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain ABAP programs incl. Module Pools, ALV Reports, and custom screens.
• Perform SAP screen enhancements to improve usability and functionality.
• Implement enhancements using BADI, User Exits, and custom ABAP logic.
• Develop and integrate SAP APIs, including OData/REST for SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Develop and consume SAP APIs including Gateway/OData with auth, validation, error handling.
• Troubleshoot API integrations (HTTP/HTTPS, JSON/XML, CSRF); build interfaces for data exchange.
• Web Application Development: design and develop new modules; enhance intranet apps.
• System Integration & Data Management: integrate data from plugins, MS SQL, third parties.
• System Support & Optimization: troubleshoot, fix bugs, optimize performance, end-user support.
• Documentation & Governance: create technical docs and user manuals.

Job description

• Develop and consume SAP standard and custom APIs, including SAP Gateway/OData services, with appropriate authentication, validation, and error handling.
• Troubleshoot and support API integrations, including HTTP/HTTPS, JSON/XML, CSRF tokens, SAP Gateway, and authorization issues. Develop custom interfaces and integration programs for data exchange between SAP and third-party systems.
• Web Application Development
• Design and develop new web application modules based on business and technical requirements.
• Customize and enhance existing intranet applications to meet evolving organizational needs.
• Maintain, expand, and optimize intranet systems to support business growth.
• System Integration & Data Management
• Integrate data from plugins, backend services, MS SQL databases, and third-party systems into intranet and SAP S/4HANA platforms.
• Ensure seamless and secure data exchange across systems.
• System Support & Optimization
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement bug fixes and optimize system performance.
• Provide technical support and solutions to end users.
• Documentation & Governance
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and user manuals.
• Ensure proper system documentation to support knowledge transfer and onboarding.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer or equivalent.
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field and preferably specializing in Software/ application or equivalent required for this position.
• Skills Needed: Experience in SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori, S4/HANA, ASP.Net, C#, HTML, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, JQuery, Ajax, Web API, JSON,XML,MS SQL, Object-oriented Programming.
