Job summary

ams OSRAM Group in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia, invites applications for an IT Internship in Service Management Platform Development. Join the IT Service Management team to learn how a global company operates its ITSM platform (ServiceNow) and to gain hands-on experience across IT infrastructure and support.

You will design and analyze processes, develop the web portal, build automation, and work on the CMDB system, under guidance, starting from April 2026 for at least four months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree student in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Highly motivated with strong work ethic and curiosity to learn.
• Knowledge about IT infrastructure and IT support.
• Knowledge about low-code platforms, ServiceNow and ITIL would be beneficial.
• Minimum internship duration of 4 months, starting from April 2026 or later.
• Working location on-site in Georgetown, Penang, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Design analyze and improve processes and solutions in the ITSM platform (ServiceNow).
• Develop the web portal to improve the user experience.
• Build automation solutions that integrate across multiple IT applications.
• Work on state-of-the-art CMDB system to manage the global IT landscape.
• Analyze and improve IT support processes.

As part of IT Service Management team, we are looking for a student who will help to enhance the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.
