Job summary

ams OSRAM Group, a global leader in lighting and sensor solutions, invites a student intern to join the FICO and Planning team in Penang. You will support reporting, analytics, and the rollout of planning tools within a dynamic, international environment.

You will assist in creating reports and dashboards, participate in tool testing, and help validate data while documenting results. This role offers hands-on learning and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree/diploma in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics or related field.
• Basic understanding of Finance/Controlling (FICO) or financial planning concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; willingness to learn new technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Support FICO and Planning related reporting and analytics activities.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of reports, dashboards, and planning solutions.
• Support the adoption and testing of new reporting and planning tools.
• Participate in functional and user acceptance testing (UAT), including preparation of test cases and documentation of results.
• Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue analysis during project and testing phases.

Your new responsibilities

Role Purpose

To support FICO and Planning initiatives, accelerate the adoption of new reporting and planning tools and assist the team with project testing, development, documentation and operational activities.
