Job summary

Fusion Consulting is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support SAP implementation, enhancement, and support projects across client environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders to improve financial processes through SAP.

Key responsibilities include configuring SAP FICO, supporting GL, AP, AR, and other modules, and ensuring successful go-live activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI and/or CO processes.
• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support SAP implementation, enhancement, and support projects across various client environments. This is a good opportunity for consultants who enjoy working closely with business stakeholders and helping organisations improve their financial processes through SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand finance and accounting requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Provide functional expertise across SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, and support projects.
• Gather and analyse business requirements and contribute to solution design and functional specifications.
• Configure and maintain SAP FICO processes based on business and project requirements.
• Support key financial processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, and Controlling (CO).
• Support integration between FICO and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and other relevant areas.
• Conduct functional testing, including test planning, execution, defect resolution, and support for UAT.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide timely solutions to business and technical teams.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and project deliverables.
• Support data migration, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live activities where required.
• Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of SAP solutions.
• Provide user support, knowledge transfer, and guidance where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and optimise SAP functionality.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO.
• Strong understanding of SAP FI and/or CO processes.
• Good knowledge of core finance and accounting processes.
• Experience with SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production support projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO configuration and functional processes.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into SAP solutions.
• Good understanding of integration between FICO and other SAP modules.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
• Willingness to work in different project environments and adapt to changing requirements.

Added Advantage

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with SAP migration, rollout, or global template projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori and S/4HANA functionality.
• Experience with cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Exposure to complex or multi-country finance environments.
• Experience with areas such as Treasury, Tax, Group Reporting, or Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
• Relevant SAP certifications.
