Job summary

Jora Malaysia is offering a 5-month IT Infrastructure Internship based in Johor Bahru. You will assist to manage and monitor all installed systems, storage, and infrastructure, installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems and security tools.

The role requires a Diploma or higher in IT/Networking, and you must reside in Johor Bahru or nearby. Open to Malaysian applicants only; allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Must reside in Johor Bahru or nearby.

• Diploma or higher in IT/Networking/Information Systems or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and monitor all installed systems, storage, and infrastructure
• Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, antivirus software, and system management tools.
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems, storage, and other infrastructure availability
• Monitor system and storage for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with relevant parties to resolve the issue
• Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
• Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
