Job summary

PEC SE ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to design, upgrade, and operate secure, high-performance IT and network infrastructure worldwide. Based in Penang, you will work with senior leadership to align technology with business goals and drive manufacturing-scale IT programs.

You will lead connectivity for ERP (SAP), CAD, and Microsoft environments, protect IP through global security control, and oversee incident, change, and problem management while traveling to PEC

Qualifications

• Master degree with IT background.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on IT infrastructure and network architecture experience in international environment.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale applications; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with engineering CAD systems and their infrastructure requirements.
• Strong experience in service management: incident, problem, and change; ITIL is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.

• Travel regularly to international sites to support deployments, assessments, and coordination.

This senior role is instrumental in defining and supporting the global IT systems that enable PEC to deliver and scale large‑scale battery manufacturing solutions worldwide. You will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the organization to align technology architecture with business strategy, operational excellence, and long‑term growth objectives. To (re) design, implement, and support a secure, and high-performance upgrade of our IT and network infrastructure across all PEC operations, worldwide, supporting business, engineering and manufacturing needs in a rapidly growing, highly demanding environment. The position is based in Penang, Malaysia and reports directly to the COO for Southeast Asia.

We are looking for a hands‑on professional, passionate about reliability, efficiency, security, and modern best practices in IT, including frameworks such as ITIL. Regular global travel to international PEC sites is required.

Key Responsibilities

Develop a highly reliable, secure, and efficient IT architecture upgrade, aligned with our business, engineering, and manufacturing needs.

Experience & Qualifications

Master Degree with an IT background

Minimum 5 years hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure and network architecture in an international environment.

Experience supporting enterprise‑scale applications, knowledge of SAP is a plus.

Familiarity with engineering CAD systems and their infrastructure and performance requirements

Strong experience in service management, including incident, problem, and change management. Knowledge of best practices like ITIL is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
