Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: Typically 3-7+ years of progressive experience in IT systems, with a proven track record of team leadership or project management.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of network administration, cloud computing, cybersecurity frameworks, and database management.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, strategic planning, cross-functional communication, and conflict resolution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure & Security: Maintain essential hardware, software, and networks; develop disaster recovery plans and cybersecurity protocols.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff; assign tasks and evaluate performance.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Budgeting & Vendor Management: Draft and oversee the annual IT department budget; negotiate contracts with external vendors.
• Business Alignment: Partner with department heads to assess technology needs and recommend system upgrades or process optimizations.
