Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a skilled IT Engineer to implement, maintain, and support enterprise IT infrastructure in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers servers, networks, virtualization, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity, collaborating with project teams and clients to deliver reliable IT services.

You will administer Windows and Linux servers, AD, DNS, VPN, and firewalls, ensure backup and DR readiness, and participate in ITIL‑driven change management across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong Windows/Linux server administration, networking and enterprise infrastructure.
• Hands-on virtualization experience (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity controls, backups, DR and patch management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication and documentation skills.
• Willing to provide on-site support and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain and optimize secure and reliable IT infrastructure.
• Administer Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, storage systems and network devices.
• Monitor system and network performance to maintain availability, reliability and security.
• Manage system backups, disaster recovery, patch management and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, application and infrastructure issues.
• Ensure IT services meet agreed SLA requirements.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper‑V).
• Support cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and VMs.
• Assist with cloud migration, hybrid deployment and capacity planning.
• Implement and support HCI solutions where applicable.
• Implement cybersecurity controls and support incident response.
