Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, business administration, or risk management.
• At least 2 years of IT governance, risk management, compliance or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards (27001/27002/31000).
• Understanding of financial services regulatory requirements.
• Awareness of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.

IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Senior Executive

About the role

Beez Fintech Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an IT Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Senior Executive to join our growing Information & Communication Technology Security team. This is a full-time position based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In this strategic role, you will play a pivotal part in establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks, managing enterprise-wide IT risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across our fintech operations. As a Senior Executive, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive GRC strategies that protect our organisation whilst enabling business growth and innovation. This position is integral to our IT security infrastructure and will have direct influence on the company's ability to maintain the highest standards of operational resilience and regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive IT governance frameworks and policies aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards
• Lead the identification, assessment and mitigation of IT-related risks across the organisation, producing regular risk reports for senior management and the board
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards and requirements relevant to fintech operations, including data protection and cybersecurity legislation
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of IT systems, security controls and governance processes to identify gaps and recommend remedial actions
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams and external stakeholders to integrate GRC principles into operational processes
• Manage relationships with internal audit, external auditors and regulatory bodies on governance and compliance matters
• Develop and deliver training programmes to raise awareness of governance, risk and compliance requirements across the organisation
• Monitor emerging threats, regulatory changes and industry trends to proactively update GRC strategies and controls
• Lead incident response and business continuity planning initiatives to ensure organisational resilience
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, reports and presentations for executive leadership and governance committees

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Risk Management or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in IT governance, risk management, compliance or a closely related field
• In-depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and ISO standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27002, ISO 31000)
• Strong understanding of financial services regulatory requirements and compliance obligations
• Knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
