Job summary

Safeguards Corp Bhd in Petaling Jaya is hiring an IT Compliance professional for a full-time, on-site role. You will ensure IT systems, networks, and processes align with internal policies, standards, and regulations, while maintaining accurate compliance records.

Your daily activities include identifying gaps, performing risk assessments, supporting audits and documentation, and coordinating with IT and business teams to implement corrective actions and update security controls.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years working experience in GRC role
• Familiarity with IT governance, risk management, and compliance standards (ISO, PCI-DSS) is an advantage
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or related field; professional certifications in security or compliance are a plus
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively on-site
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and compliance frameworks

Job description

The IT Compliance role is a full-time, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. This role is responsible for ensuring that IT systems, networks, and processes comply with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.

Day-to-day includes identifying compliance gaps, performing risk assessments, and supporting audits and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with IT and business teams to implement corrective actions, update security controls, and maintain accurate compliance records.

Qualifications

• Information Technology knowledge, including understanding of IT infrastructure and compliance frameworks.

3-4 years working experience in GRC role much preferable.

• Network Administration and Network Security skills to manage, secure, and monitor network environments.
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve system, network, and security-related issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with IT governance, risk management, and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS) is an advantage.
• Ability to maintain detailed documentation, prepare reports, and support internal and external IT audits.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications in security or compliance are a plus.
