Job summary

Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a candidate to develop, review and maintain IT policies, standards and governance frameworks. You will conduct IT risk assessments, monitor security events, and support incident investigations in a dynamic environment.

Additionally, you will implement endpoint protection, firewall configurations and backup security policies, while leading cybersecurity incident response and promoting staff awareness of IT security across the organization.

Job description

Conduct IT risk assessments, monitor security events, and support incident investigations.

Prepare, maintain and update compliance documentation, audit records and technical system diagrams.

Implement and manage endpoint protection, firewall configurations and backup security policies to safeguard data and systems.

Lead and support cybersecurity incident response, including containment, investigation, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.

Promote staff awareness on IT security and compliance, fostering a culture of accountability and safe cybersecurity practices across the organization.

Monitor, maintain and optimize the performance, reliability and security of IT infrastructure components.

Perform any other related duties as and when required.
