Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an entry-level IT Engineer who can communicate in Japanese for supporting Japanese clients across IT infrastructure and application services. Open to fresh graduates, with shift work in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

The role emphasizes collaboration with global teams, adherence to contract terms, and growth through DXC University and other development opportunities.

Qualifications

• JLPT certification (N1/N2/N3 or Level 1/2/3) or equivalent Japanese proficiency.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Fresh graduates welcome; willingness to work in shifts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT infrastructure expertise for servers, networks, and application infrastructure (e.g., SAP) to Japanese clients throughout deal lifecycles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet contract terms and technical standards.
• Support transition, onboarding, and ongoing customer interactions in a Japanese-speaking environment.

IT Engineer - Japanese Speaker (Entry Level)

Responsibilities

Provide expertise for IT infrastructure (e.g. servers, network), application infrastructure (e.g. SAP), and related services (e.g. Business Continuity) to ourJapanese clients throughout the lifecycle of a deal in accordance with contractually established terms and conditions and established technical standards.

Education and Experience Required:

Prefer Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field or equivalent work experience. No related background is also encouraged to apply.

Open to fresh grads graduating year 2026.

Wiling to work on Shift and Petaling Jaya

Knowledge and Skills:

General understanding of related IT infra technologies. No related background is also encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication (written and spoken) in Japanese language (at least certified with JLPT Level 1/N1, Level2/N2 or Level 3/N3).

Good level of communication in English.
