Genting Malaysia Berhad is seeking an IT incident and production support specialist to provide daily operational support for production systems in Theme Park, Ticketing, and Tenancy platforms. You will lead investigations, own incidents through resolution and validation, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
You will ensure change, release, and UAT processes, support system enhancements, and enforce IT policies and procedures while maintaining strong communication in English.
Perform daily operational advanced support for business-critical production systems for Theme Park, Ticketing & Tenancy system. Lead investigation and coordination for complex or high-impact incidents. Take ownership of incidents from initial investigation through resolution, validation, and closure.
Coordinate application security patching and vulnerability remediation with vendors and internal developer teams
Manage vendor support cases, SLA performance, aging issues, RCA quality, and corrective-action commitments
Coordinate UAT, defect management, production deployment, and change management
Assist small-scale system enhancement, upgrade, migration, deployment, and replacement projects
Enforce IT policies and procedures
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
2-3 years' experience in supporting POS, kiosk, ticketing, payment, or operational systems
Strong interpersonal skills with good written and verbal communication in English
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, pro-active, resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Good understanding of incident, problem, change, and service management processes
