Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT Project Engineer to lead IT infrastructure and ELV projects, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver on time and within scope. The role emphasizes planning, execution, testing, and handover of CCTV, access control, BMS, PA, and fire alarm systems, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT, electronics, EE, or telecommunications.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in IT infrastructure, networking, structured cabling, or ELV projects.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking and ELV systems.
Hands-on installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of IT/ELV systems.
Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage end-to-end IT infrastructure and ELV project lifecycle.
Coordinate with PMs, engineers, clients, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
Monitor milestones, risks, and resource constraints; propose solutions.
Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
Prepare project documentation: method statements, risk assessments, test reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulations, and quality standards.
