Job summary

A2 Automation is seeking a Project Engineer to lead ELV, CCTV and security system projects in Penang. You will read drawings, coordinate site activities, manage resources and ensure on-time delivery within budget and safety standards.

You will collaborate with main contractors and clients, supervise technicians and vendors, prepare progress reports, and support commissioning and testing to achieve quality project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical degree or diploma in electrical/telecommunications or IT.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in ELV, ICT, or security systems.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret architectural and technical drawings for ELV, ICT, and security systems.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and site activities.
• Coordinate with main contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, and timeline.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor installation works.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspection and certification of works.
• Prepare project documents, progress reports, claims, and submissions.
• Supervise technicians, project staff, and subcontractors.
