Job summary

Job description

You will build and maintain the web applications, dashboards, and integrations that power our client-facing and internal platforms. This is hands-on development work with direct exposure to business requirements, client stakeholders, and production deployment. You will sit within a cross-functional delivery team alongside business analysts, UI/UX designers, QA, and project managers. Expect to be involved from requirement clarification through to post-deployment support — not just ticket execution.

Key responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain web-based applications, administrative dashboards, and internal business systems.

Translate functional specifications and UI/UX designs into working, responsive, production-quality features.

Build and consume RESTful APIs, and develop integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.

Design, query, and optimise relational databases, ensuring data integrity and acceptable performance under load.

Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, including root cause analysis and preventive fixes.

Participate in code reviews, follow version control discipline, and contribute to maintainable, documented code.

Work with business analysts and project managers to clarify requirements, flag technical constraints early, and provide realistic effort estimates.

Support user acceptance testing and deployment activities, including release preparation and post-launch monitoring.

Contribute to internal technical documentation and knowledge sharing across the delivery team.

About you

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on application development experience. Strong fresh candidates with an exceptional portfolio may be considered at the lower end of the range.

Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server), including writing and optimising queries.

Practical experience with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

Understanding of REST API design, authentication, and integration patterns.

Able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Comfortable working to delivery timelines in a client-driven consulting environment.
