We are looking for a smart and creative Back-End Developer to provide technical development and enhancements to our company’s web-based applications.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining new and existing web applications.
• Collaborating with other team members, designers, users, and management to build new web application systems based on business requirements.
• Enhancing and maintaining the back-end aspects of our website and web applications in accordance with business requirements.
• Executing design layouts and visual appearance and visibility changes of our web applications.
• Writing high-quality, reusable, clean, efficient, and maintainable codes.
• Implementing a robust set of services and APIs to power the web applications.
• Building new features at speed and deploy them with the best development practice.
• Implementing data privacy, security, and protections on all of our web applications.
• Integrating the front-end and back-end aspects of our web applications.
• Communicating regularly on progress of active projects, adhering to agreed deadlines.
• Performing unit testing and module testing.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge in Python, JAVA and PHP, especially on back-end development in building web applications.
• Familiarity with Spring MVC, Django, Codeigniter, Yii, or Flask frameworks is a plus.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL (such as MongoDB), SQL (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Graphing Database.
• Data migration, transformation and scripting.
• Thorough understanding of versioning tools (Github, Gitlab, SVN, Jenkins, Bitbuckets)
• Solid understanding of authentication and session management.
• Experience with Restful APIs is an advantage.
• Possess a solid degree in Computer Science or IT from a reputable university.
• Have some experience in developing back-end applications.
