Job summary

WEEGETU ONLINE ENTERPRISE is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Backend / API / AI & Automation) to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs in a fast-paced environment.

You will work on payment-related services, data-intensive workflows, and AI-enabled automation, mentoring junior developers and contributing to system architecture. Strong C#/.NET, MSSQL, and API security are essential, with experience across microservices and cloud-ready designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience with senior-level responsibilities.
• Strong experience in C# and ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
• Good understanding of Webhooks and callback handling, JSON/HTTP/HTTPS, API authentication and security.
• Familiar with Git and version control workflows.
• Good understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot live production systems and resolve complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and backend systems.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third‑party system integrations.
• Work on transaction‑based systems involving payment processing and reconciliation components.
• Design and optimize database structures, queries, stored procedures, and indexes.
• Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
• Improve existing systems for performance, scalability, stability, and security.
• Handle concurrent requests and high‑volume transaction environments.
• Implement proper logging, monitoring, exception handling, and audit trails.
• Review code and ensure development standards and best practices are followed.
• Work with Project, Product, Operations, IT Support, and other teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.
• Maintain proper technical documentation for system changes, APIs, and integrations.

• Familiar with Git and version control workflows.
• Good understanding of application and API security.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical teams.
