Job summary

Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for offshore and maritime industries and provides a full range of repair and testing services. The Workshop Operator will perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks and support lifting and equipment-related activities to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

The role requires at least three years in a factory/workshop, English communication, and a Technical Certificate or Diploma.

Qualifications

Three (3) years of experience in a factory and/or workshop environment.
Technical Certificate or Diploma in Technical Field.
Able to work and communicate effectively in English.
Computer literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks including corrosion treatment, painting, and tank washing.
Lead 5S activities in the assigned work area and assist with facility upkeep.
Contribute in weekly performance management meetings.
Assist the workshop supervisor to ensure smooth operation of ISO tank maintenance, including lifting activities.
Monitor tanks handling on-site including DO review and gate-in inspection.
Assist engineers to allocate and monitor equipment for maintenance activities.
Contribute to process improvements to reduce downtime.
Ensure daily processes adhere to HSE and Quality requirements.
