Job summary

Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for offshore and maritime industries and provides a full range of repair and testing services. The Workshop Operator will perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks and support lifting and equipment-related activities to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.

The role requires at least three years in a factory/workshop, English communication, and a Technical Certificate or Diploma.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience in a factory and/or workshop environment.
• Technical Certificate or Diploma in Technical Field.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in English.
• Computer literacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks including corrosion treatment, painting, and tank washing.
• Lead 5S activities in the assigned work area and assist with facility upkeep.
• Contribute in weekly performance management meetings.
• Assist the workshop supervisor to ensure smooth operation of ISO tank maintenance, including lifting activities.
• Monitor tanks handling on-site including DO review and gate-in inspection.
• Assist engineers to allocate and monitor equipment for maintenance activities.
• Contribute to process improvements to reduce downtime.
• Ensure daily processes adhere to HSE and Quality requirements.

Air Liquide Maritime is organized along four business units, namely Offshore Energies, Cryogenic Supply, Global Rare Gases and Global Helium, and is also supporting OCEOS, a joint venture to offer CO2 shipping and barging services for CCS projects across Europe. Air Liquide Maritime Sdn Bhd specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

The key mission of this position is to perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks, ensuring regulations and customer requirements are met. The Workshop Operator will also carry out standard workshop duties in-line with operational, site and IMS requirements, adhering to the group HSE and Quality standards.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

• Perform general maintenance of T75 ISO tanks including, but not limited to corrosion treatment & painting, general & chemical ISO tank washing.
• Lead 5S activities of the assigned work area and assist with upkeep of the facility.
• Contribute in weekly performance management meetings.
• Assist the workshop supervisor to ensure smooth operation of ISO tank maintenance including lifting activities and business-related services.
• Monitor tanks handling of ISO tank movement on-site including, but not limited to review of Delivery Order (DO), gate-in inspection, and equipment related to maintenance activities.
• Assist engineers to allocate and monitor the equipment related to maintenance activities covering preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Contribute in process improvement initiatives, specifically for maintenance related activities to reduce DOWNTIME.
• Ensure daily processes adhere to the Group’s HSE and Quality requirement.

Are you a MATCH?

• Technical Certificate or Diploma in Technical Field.
• Having a forklift operator license is a plus.
• Proficient in hand tools for corrosion treatment and painting.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a factory / workshop environment.
• Able to work and communicate effectively in the English language.
• Computer literacy is a plus.
