Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in Penang, Bayan Lepas is seeking an IQC support technician to coordinate daily QA inspections and ensure adherence to procedures. The role involves assisting IQC operators and troubleshooting Vision Machine and X-Ray equipment, with emphasis on ESD and PM schedules.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Engineering, QA experience, and strong English communication. Prior semiconductor manufacturing exposure is a plus, as are good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
• Experience in Quality Assurance (QA).
• Working experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Vision Machine (V/M) and X-Ray equipment is an added advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties to ensure smooth IQC operations and timely execution of daily activities.
• Manage daily IQC activities and ensure work is completed according to established procedures and schedules.
• Provide assistance and technical support to IQC operators whenever required.
• Report and coordinate issues related to Vision Machine (V/M) and X-Ray equipment with the relevant parties.
• Ensure ESD checks and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules are completed on time.
• Monitor and follow up on daily IQC activities to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments to support quality and operational requirements.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
