Job summary

Renesas Electronics (Malaysia) in Penang is seeking an IQC Technician to coordinate daily QA activities and ensure adherence to procedures. You will support IQC operators, manage PM and ESD checks, and work closely with internal teams to keep production quality high.

Experience in QA in semiconductor manufacturing is preferred, with familiarity of Vision Machine and X-Ray equipment a plus. Strong English and communication skills are essential as you report issues and help implement corrective

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
• Experience in QA.
• Working experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Vision Machine (V/M) and X-Ray equipment is an added advantage.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with all parties to ensure smooth IQC operations and timely execution of daily activities.
• Manage daily IQC activities and ensure work is completed according to established procedures and schedules.
• Provide assistance and technical support to IQC operators whenever required.
• Report and coordinate issues related to Vision Machine (V/M) and X-Ray equipment with the relevant parties.
• Ensure ESD checks and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules are completed on time.
• Monitor and follow up on daily IQC activities to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments to support quality and operational requirements.
• Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
