Job summary

Cape EMS Berhad, based in Senai, Johor, is seeking an IQC Engineer to ensure incoming materials, components, and products meet quality standards before production. You will implement SOPs, establish inspection criteria, and monitor supplier quality while driving continuous improvements.

The role requires 2+ years in IQC/quality control within manufacturing, familiarity with SDLC quality tools, and strong communication in English. AWS, medical, and transport allowances are among offered benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
Minimum 2 years of IQC/Quality Control experience in manufacturing.
Experience in supplier quality management or supplier audits is an advantage.
Knowledge of quality control methodologies, measurement techniques, and problem-solving tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs and inspection standards for incoming QC.
Establish inspection criteria/specifications for incoming materials and components.
Monitor and maintain quality performance of incoming materials.
Develop and execute inspection and testing methods using appropriate tools and measurement techniques.
Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and waste.
Support ISO and automotive quality requirements within the QMS.
