Job summary

Hiredly X is seeking a Group CFO to lead a financial transformation as it pivots to joint-venture property development and prepares for Bursa Malaysia listing. The role reports to the Managing Director and interfaces with the Board, advisers, banks and auditors to elevate reporting, governance and liquidity management.

Ideal candidates will bring extensive listed-company experience, strong MFRS expertise, and a track record in IPO execution, capital markets activity and strategic financing.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance experience with significant time in executive leadership.
• Direct experience within a Bursa Malaysia-listed company or an active IPO environment.
• Mastery of MFRS, financial consolidation, internal controls and governance.
• Experience driving financial transformation and reporting in listed environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive IPO & listing readiness for Bursa Malaysia including coordination with sponsors, accountants, legal and tax advisers.
• Oversee financial due diligence, audits, projections and disclosures for the listing process.
• Build an institutional finance function capable of post-listing reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee consolidated reporting across subsidiaries, SPVs and JV entities per MFRS.
• Streamline monthly closes and coordinate annual statutory audits.
• Deliver board packs for quarterly board reviews with Group Accounts.

Education

Professional accounting qualification (MIA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent)
