Zusammenfassung

AirAsia is seeking a creative illustrator to bring IPs and characters to life across platforms, products and experiences. You will collaborate with the Creative Lead to develop character artwork, visual assets and guides for IP development and merchandising.

The role emphasizes storytelling, consistency, and adaptable styles, with a portfolio showcasing strong illustration skills and a passion for pop culture.

Qualifikationen

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in illustration, graphic design, character design, animation or related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating illustration ability, character work and visual storytelling.
• Strong drawing fundamentals with understanding of composition, colour, form, proportion and visual expression.
• Proficient in Illustrator and Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Able to adapt illustration styles while maintaining consistency with established visual direction.
• Good design sense and strong attention to visual detail.
• Curious, resourceful and receptive to direction and feedback.
• Able to manage assigned work and collaborate effectively with others.

Aufgaben

• Create character illustrations, poses, expressions, environments and other visual assets for AirAsia-owned IPs.
• Develop artwork for stories, campaigns, merchandise and ensure visual consistency.
• Support the development of new characters, visual elements, character guides and IP asset libraries.
• Translate approved creative directions into high-quality illustrations, graphics, layouts, key visuals, mock-ups and other design executions.
• Apply characters and creative assets across merchandise including apparel, accessories, collectibles, toys, stationery, lifestyle products and gifts.
• Support product graphics, packaging, patterns, product mock-ups and other merchandise-related artwork.
• Prepare and adapt final artwork for digital, print and production requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming and creative discussions, contributing ideas and references where relevant.
• Incorporate creative feedback constructively while maintaining a high standard of execution.
• Manage assigned creative tasks and deliverables responsibly within agreed timelines.
