Navis Capital Partners in Kuala Lumpur invites exceptional candidates to join as Assistant Manager – Investor Relations. The role supports investor relations and fundraising across the Navis platform, serving as the day-to-day contact for limited partners and their advisers, ensuring LP communications and data are delivered accurately and on time.

You will manage LP databases, respond to requests, assist with GP/LP reporting, issue communications, prepare marketing materials, coordinate meetings

Responsibilities

• Providing bespoke investor relation services for LPs (and their advisors / administrators).
• Responding to LP requests in a timely, informative, and supportive manner.
• Managing LPs and Consultants databases.
• Managing and tracking communications with existing and prospective LPs.
• Supporting the management of GP / LP reporting processes.
• Issuing LP communications (drawdown notices, cash distributions, reinvestments, AGM invitations, capital account statements, quarterly reports, etc.) and maintaining records on LP portals.
• Preparation and management of marketing or update materials and bespoke investor requests.
• Responding to investor due diligence requests and questionnaires.
• Organising meetings, including LP briefing notes for circulation to team before meetings.
• Supporting the organisation and delivery of annual LP events in Asia, Europe, and the USA where applicable.
• Maintenance of Investor Relations databases (LP ownership transfer; LP wire updates; LP contacts; etc): LP Reporting Systems, LP Portals, and CRM applications.
• Adhering to Navis IR P&P process and applying it across IR activities.
• Collaborating with HODs and team members to produce quarterly LP reports.

The Job

The Investor Relations Assistant Manager supports investor relations and fundraising activities across the Navis platform, including private equity, private debt and other initiatives. The role is the day-today operational point of contact for limited partners and their advisers, ensuring LP communications, reporting and data are delivered accurately and on time. In doing so, it underpins the IR team's ability to retain existing investors and support capital raising for new funds.

• Providing bespoke investor relation services for LPs (and their advisors / administrators)
• Responding to LP requests in a timely, informative, and supportive manner
• Managing LP’s and Consultants databases
• Managing and tracking communications with existing and prospective LPs
• Supporting the management of GP / LP reporting processes
• Issuing LP communications (drawdown notice; cash distribution; reinvestment; AGM invitation; capital account statement; quarterly reports; etc) and maintaining the record of distributed communications on the LP portals
• Preparation and management of marketing or update materials as well as any bespoke investor requests
• Responding to investor due diligence requests and questionnaires
• Organising meetings, including preparation of LP briefing notes for circulation to team members ahead of each meeting
• Supporting the organisation and delivery of annual LP events in Asia, Europe and the USA (where and when applicable)
• Maintenance of Investor Relations database (including LP ownership transfer; LP wire updates; LP contacts; etc): LP Reporting Systems, LP Portals, and CRM applications
• Adhering to the Navis IR P&P process and supporting its application across IR activities (i.e. governance of IR day-to-day activities with LPs/potential LPs/etc.)
• Working in coordination with the various HODs and team members to produce the quarterly LP reports

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree from a reputable university
• 3-7 years' experience in Investor Relations fundraising, fund administration or a related financial services function
• Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Good verbal and written communications skills
• Advance knowledge is MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Working knowledge of IR / fund administration systems (e.g. Dynamo, eFront, LP portals) an advantage
• High standard of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive investor and fund information
