Job summary

PhillipCapital Group in Malaysia is seeking an Executive, Investment to join our capital markets team. You will perform statistical analysis of daily fund returns, prepare unit trust statistics, and assist the fund manager with portfolio rebalancing.

The role also supports the marketing team with presentation decks for fund managers, and you will generate performance reports and related documents. Strong Excel and market data familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

Intermediate to Advanced Excel.
Ability to work with investment data.
Basic understanding of equities, bonds, unit trusts and portfolio management.
Good organizational and communications skills.
Familiar with Bloomberg, Refinitiv or other market data platforms (an advantage).

Responsibilities

To perform statistical analysis, including the preparation of daily fund returns and unit trust statistical tables.
To perform the supporting role in marketing related activities, including preparing presentation decks for fund managers.
To assist the fund manager in unit trust rebalancing.
To prepare performance reports and other related reports on unit trust portfolios.
To undertake any assignment as and when instructed by the superior and/ or the Management.
