Job summary

Mega Confectionery Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and dispatching materials and finished goods. You will ensure accuracy of goods, maintain FIFO/FEFO control, and coordinate with production and other departments for delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in warehouse, inventory control, logistics or store operations.
• Experience in food manufacturing/FMCG is an advantage.
• Good organizational, documentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize daily warehouse activities, and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficient in IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Willing to work in a warehouse/factory environment, including standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, issuing and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing goods are properly checked, counted, labelled, and recorded.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and ensure all warehouse transactions are updated promptly.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, slow-moving items, damaged goods, or discrepancies.
• Conduct and coordinate cycle counts, monthly stock counts, and annual stock takes.
• Investigate inventory variances and assist in reconciliation.
• Ensure proper stock rotation according to FIFO / FEFO requirements.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Sales, Planning, and other departments on material availability and delivery schedules.
• Prepare stock transfer documents, Goods Received Notes (GRN), and other warehouse records.
• Arrange and monitor loading and unloading activities.
• Ensure materials and finished goods are stored properly to prevent contamination, deterioration, damage, or mix-up.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper storage arrangements.
• Ensure compliance with Halal, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and company procedures.
• Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, lot numbers, and traceability records where applicable.
• Coordinate transportation, delivery schedules, and communication with transporters when required.
• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in monitoring warehouse manpower and daily work allocation.
• Ensure warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, racks, and weighing equipment are properly maintained and safely used.
• Report warehouse operational issues, safety hazards, damages, and non-conformities to the supervisor.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties assigned by management from time to time
