Job summary

MENARA TENGGARA ENTERPRISE is seeking an engineering intern to assist the Production Supervisor with daily production planning, scheduling, and inventory monitoring in a manufacturing setting. This role offers hands-on exposure to operations and production management, with opportunities for permanent employment on strong performance.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, maintaining reports, coordinating with departments, and supporting documentation and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree student in industrial manufacturing or related fields.
• Interest in production planning, manufacturing operations and process improvement.
• Good organisational and analytical skills.
• Responsible, disciplined and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment and with diverse teams.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily production planning and scheduling.
• Monitor production progress and workflow.
• Record and update daily production data and reports.
• Monitor raw material, WIP and finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate production requirements with relevant departments.
• Assist in production delays, bottlenecks and workflow issues.
• Support production and QC documentation.
• Assist in analysing production data and preparing reports.
• Participate in process improvement and productivity activities.
