Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a reliable Store Assistant to oversee daily store operations. You will manage stock, maintain accurate records, and support coordination between purchasing, logistics, and production teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of storekeeping experience, knowledge of inventory systems, and strong teamwork and communication skills. A forklift license is a plus. Working hours are Monday–Saturday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or Diploma qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant storekeeping/inventory experience.
• Experience with inventory/warehouse management systems.
• Physically fit with good teamwork, organizational and communication skills.
• Forklift license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage, supervise, and organize stock of materials, including building supplies, accessories, toolboxes, and equipment.
• Handle incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring stock accuracy and timely record updates.
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods for both quantity and quality.
• Maintain proper labeling, systematic storage, and document filing for all stock movements.
• Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of machinery and equipment.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist in stock checks.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, and housekeeping standards in the warehouse.
• Coordinate effectively with purchasing, logistics, and production departments.
