Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Storekeeper to manage daily receiving, storage and issuing of goods in the store. You will perform stock counts, reconcile records and ensure accurate documentation.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently or in a team, and willingness to work overtime during stock takes. Previous warehouse experience is preferred. You will coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and maintain orderly storage conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience as Storekeeper or Warehouse Assistant preferred.
• Experience in stock counting and inventory control.
• Ability to handle stock records and documentation accurately.
• Physically fit to perform stock counts and move goods.
• Willing to work overtime during stock takes.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, storing, issuing and arranging of goods and materials in the store.
• Perform daily/regular stock counting and ensure physical stock matches inventory records.
• Conduct periodic stock take and assist with full inventory counts when required.
• Record and update stock movements accurately in the inventory system or stock records.
• Check incoming goods against delivery orders, purchase orders and invoices.
• Ensure all items are properly labelled, stored and arranged for easy identification and retrieval.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, damaged goods or discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies together with the relevant departments.
• Maintain proper documentation for stock receiving, issuing, transfers and returns.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized and maintained according to company requirements.
• Follow proper storage, safety and handling procedures at all times.
• Support other warehouse and store-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
