Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Inventory Controller to monitor and maintain stock accuracy and support warehouse operations. The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, with at least one year of experience in inventory control.

You'll create POs in SAP, coordinate GRs, track inbound shipments, and participate in stock audits and continuous improvement. Strong collaboration with internal teams and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a related field from a recognized university or college.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of inventory planning, stock monitoring, and inventory control processes to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
• Familiarity with SAP for inventory transactions, purchase orders, and goods receipt processing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure stock availability and prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Perform inventory tracking, stock verification, and system updates to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Create Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
• Coordinate with end users to ensure Goods Receipt (GR) is completed in the system on time.
• Update and coordinate inbound shipments with freight forwarders, ensuring pickups occur within 4 days of readiness.
• Verify and update freight Statement of Account (SOA) to ensure accurate and timely reconciliation.
• Support stock audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities to ensure system accuracy.
• Monitor and report unsafe practices, incidents, or non-compliance related to inventory handling or warehouse operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory control processes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain discipline and compliance with company policies and procedures as stated in the employee handbook.
