Job summary

Frencken Mechatronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites applications for a contract-based Document Control and Stores Assistant. The role focuses on accurate data entry, stock documentation, and routine Excel reporting to ensure stock accuracy and timely material availability for production.

You will maintain a clean, organized store following 5S practices and support production by timely issuing and checking materials.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling documents and stock records.
• Honest, responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work in the Bangi area.

Responsibilities

• Key in store documents into the inventory management system accurately and on time.
• Record goods received, goods issued, stock transfers, and returns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store and warehouse.
• Follow 5S principles: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
• Keep aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and safe.
• Update daily stock movement reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain stock balance records for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Prepare reports on goods received, goods issued, stock balances, and discrepancies.
• Update inventory records and ensure consistency between physical stock and system balances.
• Assist with monthly stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Issue materials to production according to approved requests.
• Receive and check incoming materials for quantity, condition, and documentation.
• Ensure materials are properly stored, labeled, and arranged.
• Support production by ensuring materials are available when needed.
