Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician at Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities, electrical and mechanical systems, and assist with basic repairs under supervision.

The role requires a Diploma/TVET in Electrical or Mechanical, strong communication, and own transport. Six-month minimum contract with opportunities to contribute to safety, cleanliness and uptime of critical equipment.

• 6 months minimum duration for the assignment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with basic plumbing and electrical maintenance under supervision.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Support installation, relocation, dismantling, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and organization of work areas and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building facilities, machinery, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with basic plumbing works, including repairing leaks, clearing blockages, and replacing fixtures.
• Support basic electrical maintenance activities such as replacing light bulbs, fuses, switches, and power outlets under supervision.
• Carry out general maintenance tasks, including painting, filter replacement, equipment cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Assist in the installation, relocation, dismantling, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of work areas, equipment rooms, and facility premises.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and promptly report any defects, abnormalities, or maintenance requirements.
• Support waste management and disposal activities in accordance with company procedures.
• Work closely with the Chargeman and Utility Engineer on maintenance projects and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Chargeman, Utility Engineer, or Management.
• Other tasks may include providing support to the Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) team in maintaining and updating ESH documentation, records, and reports, but not limited to campaign, programs and other engagement.
