Job summary

Medivest Sdn Bhd is seeking a Domain Civil Engineer to oversee daily civil and structural works within hospital facilities. You will provide technical guidance, ensure safety compliance, and contribute to asset management and FEMS operations.

Ideal candidates have a Degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with strong technical and problem-solving skills. The role emphasizes team leadership and excellent client rapport in the Yong region.

Job description

To assist your superior in ensuring that Facility Engineering Maintenance Services (FEMS), are according to the Concession Agreement, Technical Requirements & Key Performance Indicators, Master Agreed Procedures, Project Operation Guidelines, Hospital Specific Implementation Plan and other statutory requirements introduced from time to time.

To assist your superior in Minimizing Deduction/Penalty/ Critical Events, prevent any implementation of clauses in the Concession Agreement (CA) that can cause damages or losses to the Company by the Contract Hospital.

Monitors daily Civil and Structural work in Hospitals.

Monitors and responses immediately upon any Facility Engineering Maintenance Services' (FEMS) work orders (including Civil, Mechanical and Electrical work orders).

Provides technical advice to subordinates on any work procedures and compliance of safety aspect while carrying any civil work. (This include Hospital Building, Roads and Carpark, Ground and Landscape, Fences and Gates, Drainage System, Sewerage System, Water Supply System, Furniture, Joinery Fittings, Signage and other related Civil Works.

Provides feedback to hospital staff on the status of FEMS repair work.

To monitor the accuracy of the FEMS' Asset Management in the system.

To ensure all the submission of FEMS’ Variation Orders are on time and accurate.

To produce technical report on any civil and structural engineering issues for the hospital.

Monitors performance of FEMS and ensuring the deduction and service performance of FEMS meets the set KPIs.

To assist your superior in managing and monitoring closely monthly Mapping, Deduction and hospital assets.

To lead, supervise and manage your technical team to achieve FEMS’s objectives and targets.

Responsible to build good rapport with the customers and enhance Company’s image by providing high quality services to them from time to time.

To provide periodical Operations Performance and Condition Appraisal Reports and Analysis as required including proposals for improvement.

To handle procurement function on any civil and structural parts.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering

Minimum 2 years’ experience

Understanding of advanced civil engineering.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills
