Job summary

Celestica invites a proactive student to join our Penang Design Centre for hands-on software development. You will help build an AI-enhanced CI/CD pipeline, perform software testing and verification, and author documentation for development and verification stages.

Ideal candidates are final-year undergraduates in electrical/electronics/software/CS/robotics with strong C/C++/Python skills, embedded systems understanding, and the ability to work autonomously after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or related technical discipline.
• Currently enrolled university student aiming to complete Bachelor's Degree (preferably final year).
• Solid understanding programming languages like C++, C and/or Python.
• Good understanding software development for embedded system.
• Good working attitude and teamwork spirit.
• Good learning skills, ability to work effectively autonomously once trained.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good understanding of using AI tools for embedded Software development.

Job description

The successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with supervision. Likes to perform various tasks and can handle multiple priorities. This is a hands-on role requiring technical knowledge.

Job Descriptions:

• Work on building SW CI/CD pipeline process using AI for SW Development
• Work on software testing/verification
• Work on authoring technical documentation for development and verification phases

Basic Qualifications:

• Should be a Bachelor of Electrical, Electronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics or a related technical discipline

• Have basic knowledge of Embedded, Networking protocols
• Familiar with the usage of version control tools like Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and components datasheets
• Ability to use AI-assisted development tools
