Job summary

ISOLAB in Malaysia is offering an Internship in Biomedical Sciences focused on microbiology and clinical diagnostics. The role involves assisting R&D, conducting experiments, and collaborating on POCT diagnostics and microbiology media practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Laboratory Science, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of microbiology, clinical diagnostics, and laboratory practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) or equivalent productivity tools.
• Strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the research and development of Isolab's business.
• Conduct experiments & demonstration to optimize the tests.
• Collaborate with the team to develop POCT diagnostics & microbiology pre-poured media practices.
• Analyze data and report findings to the clinical and development team.
• Prepare daily microbiology certificates of analysis , learn growth performance test and sterility testing .
• Support the development of educational materials , CME and workshops related to laboratory diagnostics and industrial microbiology
• manage medical device operations and prepare meeting minutes
