Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking an onsite engineer with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. You will assist in assembly setup, evaluate new processes, analyze low-yield issues, and monitor purchases while following SOPs.

You will gain training on equipment handling and root-cause analysis, participate in training plans for operators, and ensure safety, ESD, and cleanroom guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Supervisor in assembly process set-up and buy-off.
• Support evaluation related to new process/product.
• Support evaluation and analysis for low yield issue and process improvement.
• Assist supervisor in monitoring equipment/material purchase (check PR, PO status etc)
• Will be trained on equipment and process handling follow standard operating procedures.
• Follow up specific problems as advised by Supervisor.
• Exposure to root cause investigation and implementation of corrective action.
• Exposure to technical report preparation and documentation.
• Assist supervisor on establish training plan for operator qualifications.
• Compliance to ISO Requirements, company rules & regulations, applicable codes etc.
• Ensure compliance to Safety, ESD, Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines
• To carry out assigned projects from time to time.
• Attend any other trainings as directed by the immediate superior.
