Job summary

Oleon Port Klang Sdn Bhd invites motivated interns to support daily operations and project tasks at Pulau Indah, Port Klang. The role offers hands-on experience in P&ID reading, onsite validation, HAZOP preparation, and safety risk assessment while working with cross-functional teams.

Applicants should be pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related fields and be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Pursuing at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Science or any engineering studies to related field.
• English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency.
• Basic computer skills - Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• P&ID Reading and Interpretation: read and compare as-built documents with site conditions.
• Onsite Validation Techniques: validate P&IDs and understand plant layouts.
• HAZOP Preparation and Documentation: prepare essential documentation for HAZOP studies.
• Risk Assessment Methodology: learn how to identify and assess hazards in processing plants.
• Exposure to Process Safety: gain insight into process safety principles through HAZOP prep.
• Collaborative Skills: work with cross-functional teams and understand roles.
