• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP); knowledge of SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Basic understanding of inventory management, sales analysis, or business planning.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, SOH, sell-through rates, and stock aging across stores.
• Identify low stock, overstock, and slow-moving items, and assist in replenishment planning.
• Track Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier fulfilment for promotional campaigns (PWP and GWP).
• Prepare weekly inventory, replenishment, and business performance reports.
• Analyze sales performance, inventory turnover, promotional effectiveness, and stock movement.
• Collect and interpret business data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Track membership performance, customer purchasing behaviour, and buying patterns.

Internship: Merchandising, Analysis & Planning

As a Business Analysis & Planning Intern, you will support the Business Analysis team in inventory monitoring, sales analysis, business reporting, and operational planning. You will work closely with Merchandising, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient stock management, analyze customer buying behaviour, and provide insights that support business decisions. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in retail analytics, inventory management, and business planning.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor inventory levels, stock on hand (SOH), sell-through rates, and stock aging across stores.

Identify low stock, overstock, and slow-moving items, and assist in replenishment planning.

Track Purchase Orders (POs) and coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers.

Monitor supplier fulfilment for promotional campaigns (e.g. Purchase With Purchase (PWP) and Gift With Purchase (GWP)).

Prepare weekly inventory, replenishment, and business performance reports.

Analyze sales performance, inventory turnover, promotional effectiveness, and stock movement.

Collect and interpret business data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.

Track membership performance, customer purchasing behaviour, and buying patterns.

Support the preparation of dashboards and reports for management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Sales, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel ("Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP"); knowledge of SQL or Power BI is an advantage.

Basic understanding of inventory management, sales analysis, or business planning is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
