Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Malaysia to perform design and development activities, including proposals, risk assessments, concept studies, detailed designs, drawings, prototypes, and tests. The role involves studying new technologies and performing POC designs, and conducting mechanical tests per product specs.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical design and development activities (proposals, risks assessment, concepts study, detail designs, drawings, prototypes, tests).
• New technologies study/research and perform proof of concept (POC) design.
• Conduct mechanical engineering tests, verification tests, characterizations, cyclic and reliability tests according to product specification.
• Components sizing, calculation and selection (motors, gears, CAM, peltier device, etc.).
