Job summary

Setel is offering a 5 to 6-month internship in Kuala Lumpur for a software operations intern. You will diagnose production issues, assist operations and support teams, and document solutions to improve system reliability.

This role emphasizes problem-solving, clear communication, and hands-on troubleshooting. You will develop documentation, follow escalation procedures, and ensure all issues are logged while respecting company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
• The ability to resolve critical incidents/problems and fluently apply escalation and notification procedures to leadership.
• Available to commit to a 5 to 6-month internship.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, identify, and apply solutions to resolve critical software production issues.

• Assist with any related tasks, projects, and other assigned duties as and when deemed necessary.
• Ensure adherence to the compliance of company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
